Grab your pup, their spookiest (or silliest) costume, and join Aspen Grove for our annual dog-friendly Halloween celebration!

🎃 Paw-rade Fundraiser – 12:00 PM
Kick off the day with our costumed walk around Aspen Grove to benefit Pepper’s Senior Dog Sanctuary. Entry is $10 for an individual dog costume, and $20 (2 – 5 dogs in your entry), with proceeds supporting the amazing work of our local nonprofit. Whether you walk your pup or push/pull them in a festive manual-powered float (no cars, sorry), you’ll be in the running for the $500 Best Parade Prize (winner announced during the costume contest).

🐕 Barkin’ Market – 12–3 PM
Shop 30+ dog-friendly vendors for treats, gear, and goodies.

🍬 Dog Trick-or-Treating
Visit participating stores for pup-approved treats.

🎭 Dog Costume Contest – 2:30 PM
Cheer on the finalists and see who takes home the big prize. Every dog has their day—and Woof-o-Ween is it! 🐾 Each costumed pup will strut their stuff by category, making their way across the event stage (or in front of it for those with extra-elaborate outfits). After the first walk-through of all categories, our judges will call up the top seven finalists in each group for a final round to determine the top three winners and award prizes. The event will conclude with the grand Best in Show presentation, awarded to the most outstanding Paw-rade entry of the day.

Prizes per category:

• 1st Place – $200
• 2nd Place – $100
• 3rd Place – $50

Scariest Costume: Creepy, spooky, or ghoulish looks that give a playful fright.

Best Owner & Dog (Duo or group): Matching or themed costumes for people and pups together — dynamic duos, famous pairs, or creative themes.

Most Creative / DIY Costume: We reward original ideas — whether hand-crafted, outside the box, or unlike anything else in the ring.

Best in Show – $500 Chosen from the Paw-rade entries only — awarded to the single most outstanding entry (from an individual, group, or a float entry – one entry wins).
