Kick off your weekends with the perfect summer night out! Join us every Friday in August for “Music in the Burbs,” an evening filled with live music, delicious food, refreshing drinks, and great company.

Swingin’ Denver will host the August 9th “Music in the Burbs” night. It’s a Swing Night concert featuring the Hot Tomatoes Dance Orchestra, a special swing dance session, and a swing dance competition.

Come early to grab your spot, and enjoy an array of tasty offerings from local food trucks and refreshing beverages from the BARBOX, including beer, wine, cocktails, and more.

What to Expect:

• Live Music: Dance the night away with live performances from talented bands each week.
• Food Trucks: Satisfy your cravings with a variety of delicious food options.
• BARBOX: Enjoy a wide selection of beverages, including beer, wine, and cocktails.
• Dress the part: Come dressed in your best swing attire and enjoy a night of Americana.

Details:

• Swing Dance Lessons with professional swing dancers are from 6:00 – 6:15 PM.
• Live music from the Hot Tomatoes Dance Orchestra 6:15 PM – 8:00 PM
• The Swing Dance Competition starts at 7:00 PM with the finals dancing to the first song in the Hot Tomatoes Dance Orchestra’s second set (7:15 PM). First place is $500, Second place $250, and Third place $100. Voting is based on audience applause.
• What to Bring: Don’t forget your chairs, blankets, and dancing shoes for a great night out.
• Location: The BARBOX at Aspen Grove provides the perfect backdrop for an evening of fun and entertainment.
