Somewhere in our community, a mailbox waits quietly.

This winter, you can help fill it with kindness.

Now in its 6th year, the Love Letter Project invites our community to create handwritten Valentine’s cards for neighbors served by Nourish Meals on Wheels and Meals on Wheels recipients throughout the Denver metro area.

Each card is hand-delivered before Valentine’s Day, carrying a simple reminder that someone is thinking of them.

How to Take Part

• Make a card. Handmade cards are encouraged, but heartfelt words matter most.
• Need supplies? Stop by ROX Arts Gallery during gallery hours, or make your card at home.
• Drop it off at ROX Arts Gallery or in the mailbox next to the gallery.
• NO STAMP IS NEEDED. Cards are hand-delivered.
• PLEASE DO NOT SEAL YOUR CARD.
• Make as many as you’d like. One is wonderful. Ten is wonderful, too.

Why It Matters

Nourish Meals on Wheels serves homebound Littleton residents, and the project also reaches Meals on Wheels recipients across the Denver metro area.

For some recipients, your card may be the only Valentine they receive.

A few handwritten words can turn an ordinary February day into something warmer, brighter, and a little less lonely.

This is a simple act.
A small pause in your day.
A note that travels farther than you think.

Help us fill mailboxes, hearts, and February days with connection.

Drop off your Love Letters December 26 through February 8 at the special mailbox outside of ROX Arts Gallery or stop inside and they will take it too.
